Christmas Gift Drive

Give Back this Christmas

We’re stoked to be doing our little part and hosting a Christmas Gift Drive.

We’ve registered with the Salvation Army to ensure all gifts receive make it to recipients in need, who would otherwise go without.

We invite you to please drop off your gift at our office any time until COB December 21st. We’ll be taking all the gifts to the drop off point on Christmas Eve.

The Salvo’s provide a few tips for giving. Please take a read below:

  • Please do not wrap gifts. This allows parents/guardians the special experience of choosing gifts for their kid’s unique personalities and interests. Feel free to include some wrapping paper or a gift bag for them to use.

  • Please only donate new items. Sadly the gift you donate may be the only present someone receives this Christmas. We know Christmas isn’t only about receiving gifts, but this is one way we can help families feel special.

  • Please consider gift vouchers! Gift vouchers mean a parent/guardian who is struggling doesn’t miss out on the joy of purchasing a gift their their child. Gift vouchers are also an ideal gift for teenagers.

  • Please consider gifts for teenagers & older age groups. Every year the Salvo’s are overwhelmed with gifts for younger children but often run out of suitable gifts for teenagers and parents.

  • Where donating food gifts, please ensure items have long expiry dates and are non-perishable

  • Supermarket gift vouchers make a great addition to food hampers, allowing the recipient to purchase fresh fruit, vegetables and meat at Christmas

  • Consider providing choices that suit families with young children, people with allergies, the elderly or newcomers to Australia.
